The Dixon Lake Road goes from the Lougheed Highway over to Chehalis area and was apparently de-commissioned
since Dixon lake is now used a reservoir. Over the winter many washouts were formed from the melting
snow causing this road to become almost impassable. Some of these washouts are quite deep and have very
steep inclines that only a Samurai or possibly a Jeep can traverse. This day we went out with (left
to right) Randy from Breeze Industries, Ourselves in our Samurai, Peter and Cheryl, and Phil. The trail
takes about 3 hours including rest and scenic stops along the way.
