These pictures were taken shortly after I brought it home.
The only things I have done in these pictures has been to put wheels
on it
and to install an engine.
Since then I have spent countless hours cleaning and wetsanding the
body in preparation for
clearcoating. It now looks like it did when it came out of the mould.
With the exception
of a few minor stress cracks. The interior has been painted flat black.
A full house of gauges has been installed.
All brake lines and fuel lines are new as are the 4 wheel cylinders
and shoes.
New headlights and high intensity off road lights have been added under
the front end.
The fuel tank has also been replaced as the original had no bottom.
New/used high back bucket seats are installed. An updated wiper/ washer
system has been
added to accomodate the sloped windshield. Windshield etched with Kyote
emblem.
New/used transmission installed as original had no 3rd or 4th gear.
Complete rewiring with all circuits fused
The floor has been rebuilt and the rear floor has been raised to provide
storage.
The entire floor, front and rear was then covered with
mirror finish aluminum diamond plate. Motive force is provided by a rebuilt 1600 dual port with single carb
and cannon headers.
The engine block is painted to batch the body and a few chrome extras
have been added.
