Drinking is one VERY expensive hobby.

I thought I would sit down here and explain to you just how stupid I really am. Gonna take HTML for Dummies in hand and figure out, for all the world to see, how much money I spend on my "hobby".

My wife recently took back my empty beer bottles from about 3 months accumulation. She got back $117.00. Now we get 10 cents per bottle here, so that equals 1170 bottles. *sits back as his jaw jits the floor....cuz he never figured it out before*. This equates to about 97 cases. Hello....is something wrong here..???? A case of beer costs $13.75 here for my brand.,"Indian Beer" my alleged friends call it. now take out the $1.20 deposit for the bottles and you are left with $12.55.

I must have been thirsty...:)

Now THAT is just my "at home" consumption, Never mind the Saloon tab. The boys and I go for beers now and then after work. Lets say we go for beer 1 time a week after work . Bar beer here costs $3.75 per beer then a buck for the second one if it's "Happy Hour". Now I usually buy the first round and then stay for the second, maybe a third one. There is usually 4 of us. Based on three months.

Oh my...and I am STILL thirsty....:)

OK, now we have beer at work sometimes, well, after work actually. We would do this probably two times per week. Usually we just buy a case and we each have a couple and then we go. But sometimes we buy two cases. So lets say we drink 3 cases per week, of which I probably buy 1/2 of them. The boys are to proud to drink my brand so usually I buy their brand.

You think I would be full by now.....WRONG.

Then there is the multitude of drinks here and there. Places like the golf course, or taking customers for lunch. That kind of stuff. Beer at the golf course or the bar is almost the same price. Average cost $3.25 per drink. Now I figure I have AT LEAST 15 drinks a week like that. Minimum. Not including the ones I buy for customers. And 8 more for them guys. Golf is hard on beer.
