Base64 codec is a standalone codec for encoding and decoding in base64 format. It is useful to for sending e-mail attachments when mail client does not support binary attachments.Feature
Base64codec also has (non-standard) support for compressing and encrypting data.(By the way, don't worry, the buttons light up when the cursor pass over them).
