We were - again - given a rather rude awakening by our louder -
and -
larger - than - life neighbours from the Northern Province, SAfrica at
about 05:15 this morning. They were on a breakaway from their wives, jobs,
reality, etc and having a real good old booze-up time.
But it did give us time to break camp in the cool of morning! Having spent
2 glorious relaxing days at Drotsky's Cabins on the Okavango Delta
panhandle, we were ready for the long schlepp across the border into
Namibia - today's destination = Waterberg Plateau National Park, northern
Namibia - near the town of Otjiwarongo (where some of Steve's relatives
STILL live!!).
So, in the next email, find a couple of "camp" photos as well as a
rather
dull shot (we were in a hurry to leave - SORRY) of the Okavango River to
prove we were there!
