DAY 2
APOLOGIES for the Delay -
was in such a rush, didn't have time to send from
Bulawayo en route. But Zim's second city is lovely - very colonial, wide
streets, stunning buildings, parks, fountain, etc (pic 1).
On to Matobo
National Park - all prepaid, so no problems at gate - BUT at Maleme Dam
Campsite ...... "No, sir, the price went up 3 weeks ago - it now costs
Z$330 per person per day...." To cut a long story - to which I shall
return! - short, we were allowed in at the old rate. Set up camp, saw
lovely little critturs (photo 2) and had ANOTHER superb braai (photo 3).
