Coughing, spluttering, rushing to the toilet - that's how the day started for most! Beat off the ostriches who proceeded to pester the neighbours. Off to Grootfontein for a visit to the local museum dating back to 1896 - pity we had to wait outside for 30 minutes (pic 1) before being allowed in! YOU MAY ONLY GO MITT ME!!!! the curator announced - no wandering around on your own!!

Then off to the world's largest meteorite, the Hoba meteorite, outisde town - 50 tonnes of it!! (Pic 2 and 3). Back to town for some shopping and then another hell of an afternoon of relaxation!

Returned to Roy's for the sun and the pool - Adrienne and Hannah not happy, so spent the time sleeping. Jill and Jerry went on a "farm tour" with Wimpie, the farmer, and then we did the afternoon walk - spotted the eland herd twice. The best game viewing was actually right in our campsite - the common duiker popped its nose in (pic 4) as did Jill, the tame eland calf (pic 5) .

We actually had to shoo her away!! A rather quiet dinner and an early night.
