On the road again via the town of
Rundu for some shopping - and a visit to the bank for Jerry to get some
local buckaroo's (and some patience in the bank!). Past one of the many
local "hotspots"!! (pic 1). Coffee break along the road - and
arrived at Roy's Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon lazing around -
swimming and bird-watching.
Evening walk, fun with the resident ostriches and duiker, and a
magnificent braai with meat, toasted sandwiches and salad provided by
Roy's (thanks, Arno!!). Camp filled up dramatically - pity! Adrienne
surprised us all - and herself!! by blurting out as someone turned on a
radio: "Some motherf****r's (my ears, my poor little
ears - the webmonster) got music playing!!" Much hilarity! Now
twas Hannah and Jill's turn to be ill!! Only Steve still disease-free!!!
