Torrey Pines Golf Course

Torrey Pines Golf Course In sunny San Diego lies one of the world's best municipal golf courses, Torrey Pines South. Few courses in America, perhaps no city-owned golf course, can claim a more beautiful natural setting. Lined with Torrey pines, for which the club is named, the fairways line the edges of steep cliffs, dropping 300 feet to the ocean below.

Designed by William P. Bell, designer of the Riviera Country Club course, and finished by his son, William F. Bell, the greens hide subtle breaks and the fairways offer spectacular views of the Pacific ocean. Play Torrey Pines today and discover one of the finest public courses in America.

Found on Course Library Vol 4, Torrey Pines was the course brought out with Links Golf. Suprisingly it did not appear in LS format till Vol 4 was released. It is one of the most forgiving courses in the Links range as it has realitivly few trees and few water hazards. In saying this however, bunkers protect the front of a majority of the greens.
