So far we have a page that looks good, now let's make one that sounds good too. If you can hear the music on this one then you have sound capabilities in your browser. If not you need to get one. I use Crescendo and you can download it here.

Like your images, you have to locate the midi you want to use and download it. Once you have it then you can "embed" it into your page. Again this is a relatively simple task to do.

The midi you hear is "Take a Bow" and that's what you can do once you are done! You'll notice I like using soft sounds, maybe my age is showing! OK, enough of my complaints, we're hear to learn how to use midis. So let's put our sound in using the same midi I have.

Here it is in a nutshell...remember, you can use whatever midi you choose, we are just using "Take a Bow" for demo purposes now! I also chose to center it.

I have been on pages where the viewer does not have the option of controlling the sounds and I personally feel this is a discourtesy to that visitor. Therefore I always have mine set up so it can be turned off or the volume adjusted.

Now let's move on to see just how we are going to put these lessons all together.
