St. Andrews - Spring 1994
Next time you complain about a bunker, think about this one at the Old Course at St. Andrews. The green was to my right, so my
only shot was to hit the ball against the rounded side of the bunker and hope the ball bounced up in the air and backwards so that I could go for the green on my next shot.
Fortunately it worked.
Me, standing on the bridge over the Swilcan Burn leading up to the 18th fairway.
My caddy & I. He gave me a hard time about my bad putting leading to what I am sure was a
dissapointing tip for him. How do you like my hairdo?
Me and the two danish gentlemen I played with in front of the St. Andrews Royal & Ancient clubhouse. We finished our round at about 10:15 and commenced looking for a pub that was open
to serve us a pint or two. After being turned away several times we were successful.

The scorecard for the second of my two rounds on the Old Course. As you can tell from all the scribbling,
I took some scoring liberties.
