Third grade students working together on an author project
Welcome to Super Third Grade! Some of the major things we study are multiplication, subtraction with regrouping, measuring, simple machines, magnets, continents, and our own community.
Some things that make 3rd grade so super are working on computers, learning interesting information, and reading lots of stories.
Some of the things we do with technology are accelerated reader, writing stories, designing with presentation software, and learning through educational computer games. This year, we've worked on Internet "Web Quests". Take a look at our "Amnesia Quest" site showing our work.
Some of the field trips are to Dallas Black Dance Theater, McKinney's Nursing hone and Dallas Museum of Art.
The reason why Burks 3rd grade is the best 3rd grade ever is because we have a lot of fun learning together.
