A nightmare trapped outside my life
Clawing frantically and reaching out
There's no one to take my hand
I look for someone to catch me
But no one cares
With ambiguity and silence
They push me further away
Falling into spiraling desperation
I scream for anyone
I know they hear my pleas
But no one cares
I fall hard and far inside myself
Leaving what I had before behind
And searching for anything new
But there is nothing for me
I ask for help, I beg for it
I know they see
But no one cares
I decide on the future
Snatching up my defiance
And facing into the deep
Defying its wish that I wait
Defying its pain and sorrow
I refuse to let it take me
One last time I look to freedom
I look to those who once were
But no one cares
