This page was initially created as a project for a course in Multicultural Education at McGill University. However, I would like to keep this page on the internet for fans or opponents of the show Sailor Moon so I have a few comments to make.
First of all, I am not writing these essays from the point of view of a fan of the show (although I am in fact a fan of the show). I am writing an objective report about what I have read on the internet and what people have told me. This is a project about what people THINK of Sailor Moon and, as such, may contain some inaccuracies. If you spot a glaring inaccuracy, please write to me and I will fix it at my discretion. If you disagree with my opinion, feel free to let me know but, please remember that I am trying to look at the show objectively.
Second, I don't want anyone to be offended at what I say. Not everything I say about Sailor Moon is positive but it is not all negative either.
Third, my purpose in this website is neither to condemn or endorse Sailor Moon simply to report about what I have read on the internet and what I received as answers in a survey I conducted over the internet. I will say, however, that I am a fan of the show.
