LET BYGONES BE HERE


Cubbi is in trouble again for shooting his pebbleshooter (originally a slingshot in my fic) in the Glen and is basically grounded. He meets up with Zummi researching a new spell and they eventually get to using it: transports them back in time a bit. They used the spell outside and wander back to the Glen, to find a young (like Cubbi's age!) Gruffi confronting them with a good "Who goes there!". They are welcomed in and you are introduced to Jerri, head of construction in the Glen as they are actually in need of expanding the place!, and also Filun and Cherri Gummi who work in the Glen library restoring and researching the old books. The Great Book is sealed because, if you read STRANGERS IN THE MIST, I surmised that the gummi medallion Cavin's granddad found was _not_ from Gummi Glen but Ursalia. So the Glen has been without a Gummi Medallion for some time and probably led to the evacuation as the bears couldn't protect themselves well without magic. Anyway, so the book is closed and Zummi can't open it to get back with the two library gummies around and lil' Gruffi hanging on them so Cubbi distracts that cub and Zummi plays defense with Cherri and Filun. Eventually they get back, without Zummi running into the lil' Grammi or himself! Cubbi gets a better appreciation for Gruffi, etc.
