  • Jan 5-19 Phil in US on business in San Diego - setting up trial weather system for US Navy. Then in Orlando - to attend salees exhibition at American Met Society.
  • Feb 4-23 - P,R,A&A to Thailand on holiday. An incredible 3 weeks reviving 'old' memories! Take a look at the highlights...
  • Mar 2-16 Phil in Melbourne on business (training forecasters on system). Some time off at the weekend with friends (Thomases), at country music festival, & 4-wheel-driving in Snowy Mountains!
  • Mar 23 London Eye! P,R,A&A 'flew' on the 'Millennium Wheel'. Strongly recommended - great views of Buckingham Palace, Westminster, etc.
  • Mar 31 - Apr 7 P,R,A&A to Devon to look for a new house! (Likely to be moving to a small village (Whimple) between Exeter & Honiton. Peaceful location overlooking open fields! Yet only 5 minutes walk from Exeter - Waterloo station.)
  • Apr 9 - Anastasia starts school! (Half-days at Winnersh Primary)
  • Apr 20 - May 4 Phil in Thailand on business (setting up new weather system for Thai Air Force in Bangkok).
  • June 8-13 Phil in Rome for Weather Systems Conference.
  • July 7 - Farewell from our Wokingham Church
  • July 8-12 Phil in Dublin to set up trial weather system.
  • July 14 - Party in the Pastures - Winnersh Family Fun Day
  • July 19 - Farewell to Wokingham "Black and White" Party - speeches & dancing!
  • July 23 - Summer term ends. Sad goodbyes to Aidan's best friends Tom and Daniel and Stasia's best friends Tamsin and Rachel.
  • End of July 2002 - Move house from Winnersh to Whimple! Quaint village with traditional church, small school, and thatched Post Office! (But still sad to leave Tudor Cottage...)
  • July 27-Aug 3 - To New Wine Christian Family Camp. An amazing Tornado!
  • Aug 17-31 - Phil to South Africa. A week at a hunting lodge outside Pretoria installing new weather system at the capital. Next week at the Earth Summit ("Rio+10") in Johannesburg manning exhibition stand.
  • Sep 4 - Term starts at new school in Whimple! Anastasia  now on full days.
  • Oct 26-Nov 3 - Half Term. Spent some days with Great Grandpa Jack Dominy in Dorset. Family outing to Corfe Castle.
  • Nov 4-15 - Phil to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to install weather system.
  • Dec 20 - End of term.
  • Christmas at home in Whimple with Rebecca's parents.
  • New Years Eve on Dartmoor with Phil's parents.
  • New Years Eve - Phil & Rebecca out - with Whimple friends!
