Heaven's Smile

I have laughed the laugh of a thousand angels,
And smiled the smile of a thousand more.
I have seen the sights from the top of countless peaks
And walked the paths through their valley's floor.
I have weathered storms filled with the fury of hell,
And climbed endless rainbows spun of gold.
I have heard sirens sing their wicked, deadly songs,
And witnessed the greatest stories ever told.
I have felt her touch through the depths of my being
And soared in inspiration at the sound of her voice.
I have fought the darkness from the most evil of souls,
And overcome death like a man with no choice.
I have knelt before this vision of beauty in my soul,
And offered up my heart, betraying my pride.
I have loved no other so desperately, so complete,
And forever will not suffice to stand by her side.
