Regular Examination Procedures

1.  The date of each exam will be announced in class, at least one week in advance.

2.  The regular exam date will almost always fall on the final class day of the week (Friday).

3.  Each student should should bring a # 2 Pencil to the exam.

4.  All students taking the exam on the scheduled day (as all students should if at all possible) will receive a bonus (+2) added to their exam grade (a small thank-you for making my life  easier!)

5.  There will never be bonus points given for make-ups, even if taken on the same day as the regular test period.

5.  Thereafter, a student will have a two-week period  in which to make-up the exam without penalty.  

6.  If for any reason an office hour during this two week period is cancelled, then the period of unpenalized makeups will be extended into the next office hour.

8.  Make-up exams will be administered either during a regular Friday afternoon session held by the department or by the professor during his office hours.

9.  Students who fail to make-up an exam within this two week period will incur a penalty of 10 points. 

10.  Failure to take any two exams within the two week period immediately following will result in the student receiving no grade for the course.
