This quadrangular tournament, played every four years, involves England, the United States and Canada. It was last won by New Zealand in 1996.

The Black Ferns are also the holders of the Rugby World Cup.

This year has seen a more organised NPC. Although results from earlier than 2000 have been difficult to find, this season's results are complete.
