Cursed
He who bears the shame of the pain
And who's only pity is found in a mothers heart
His life in torment is taken
His friends, in fear have fled
Cursed is he who hung on a tree
I see his face display the anguish
I see the blood flow down
And I hear all the garbled sounds
As the crowd cries out for payment
Cursed is he who hung on a tree
With all the might left in his body
He raised his head and proclaimed his death
The tree took his weight, and the clouds rolled
As the rain crashed down the crowds fled
Cursed is he who hung on a tree
I saw his mother as tears rolled down her face
Then my heart was wrung with questions of why
His life to them he gladly gave, and I know is
Cursed is he who hung there for me.
