Numbness and feeling
Are all quite the same,
Because numbness is the feeling
Of no feeling at all.
So you see my friend,
It's all very simple.
Nothing is something,
It's the way you perceive it.
Emptiness hovers
Under the covers,
But you see,
You're really quite filled.
And loneliness looms
But you're never alone,
For your thoughts will
Always be with you.
