In Heaven

~Life and death... Life after death...
I won't analyze here my believes and thoughts about life and death,
but I can certainly tell that I am compromised with the idea of death,
as I have accepted it as part of the cycle, soul has to go through. I think
about death as the bridge which will drive my soul from this world to
another, from my country on the earth, to my eternal country, in the
Kingdom of my God.
The loss of a dear person is always painful and there are no
magical
recipes for anyone to get it over with ease. I found surfing around on
the Net, some poems that really touched my heart. The authors are
unknown, I guess that are people like you, like me, sensitive and
deeply caring about those they leave behind.
I put these poems together here, for those who are in sorrow,
to read them and get some comfort, knowing that, these probably
were the feelings, too, of their beloved. I do feel the same...
and I want my family, my friends, to know that I'm ready anytime
for my God to call me, and no matter far or near,
I'll always feel and love them.

To My Dearest Family
Some things I’d like to say,
but first of all to let you know
that I arrived okay.
I’m writing this from Heaven
where I' d well with God above
where there’s no more tears or sadness,
there is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I’m out of sight
remember that I’m with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you,
when my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said: "I welcome you.
It’s good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone,
as for your dearest family,
they’ll be here later on.
I need you here so badly
as part of My big plan,
there’s so much that we have to do
to help our mortal man".
Then God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do
and foremost on that list of mine
is to watch and care for you,
and I will be beside you
every day and week and year
and when you’re sad.
I’m standing there
to wipe away the tear,
and when you lie in bed at night,
the days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth
and all those loving years,
because you’re only human
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry
it does relieve the pain,
remember there would be no flowers
unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
of all that God has planned,
but if I were to tell you
you wouldn’t understand.
But one thing is for certain,
though my life on Earth is o’re.
I am closer to you now
than I ever was before,
and to my very many friends
trust God knows what is best.
I’m still not far away from you,
I’m just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb,
but together we can do it,
taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I’d like it for you, too,
that as you give unto the World
so the World will give to you.
If you can help somebody
who is in sorrow or in pain
then you can say to God at night:
"My day was not in vain".
And now I am contented
that my life it was worthwhile
knowing as I passed along the way.
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody
who is down and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up
as on your way you go.
When you are walking
down the street
and you’ve got me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze
or the wind upon your face,
that’s me giving you a great big hug
or just a soft embrace.
And when it’s time for you to go,
from that body to be free,
remember you’re not going,
you are coming here to me.
And I will always love you,
from that land way up above.
Will be in touch again soon.
P.S. God sends His Love

Remember me with smiles and laughter
For that's how I'll remember you all.
If you can only remember me
with tears and sorrow,
Then don't remember me at all.

To Remember Me
The day will come when my body will
lie upon a white sheet neatly tucked
under four corners of a mattress
located in a hospital busily occupied by
the living and the dying. At a certain
moment a doctor will determine that my
brain has ceased to function and that,
for all intents and purposes, my life has stopped.
When that happens, do not attempt to
instill artificial life into my body by the
use of a machine. And don't call this my
deathbed. Let it be called the Bed of
Life, and let my body be taken from it to
help others lead fuller lives.
Give my sight to the man who has
never seen a sunrise, a baby's face or
love in the eyes of a woman. Give my
heart to a person whose own heart has
caused nothing but endless days of
pain. Give my blood to the teenager
who was pulled from the wreckage of
his car, so that he might live to see his
grandchildren play. Give my kidneys to
one who depends on a machine to exist
from week to week. Take my bones,
every muscle, every fiber and nerve in
my body and find a way to make a
crippled child walk.
Explore every corner of my brain. Take
my cells, if necessary, and let them
grow so that someday, a speechless
boy will shout at the crack of a bat and
a deaf girl will hear the sound of rain
against her window.
Burn what is left of me and scatter
the ashes to the winds to help the
flowers grow.
If you must bury something, let it be
my faults, my weaknesses and all
prejudice against my fellow man.
Give my sins to the devil. Give my soul
to God.
If, by chance, you wish to remember
me, do it with a kind deed or word to
someone who needs you. If you do all I
have asked... I will live forever.

WHEN TOMORROW STARTS
WITHOUT ME...
When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready, in heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind, all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye,
for all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, so much yet to do,
it seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized, that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories, would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great and golden throne,
He said: "This is eternity, and all I've promised you".
"for life on earth is past, but here it starts a new."
"I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day, there's no longing for the past."
"You have been so faithful, so trusting and so true."
"Though there were times you did some things, you
knew you shouldn't do. But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free. So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?"
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
for everytime you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.
