Invitation event for all C/P/H officers, NCOs and officers in training.

Battalion School and Living History, Widow Pence Farm, Cross Keys, VA - May 16 - 18, 2008
Battalion school and living history at the Widow Pence farm in Cross Keys. Great site which we are all familiar with. All members are strongly encourage to attend this important event.

"South Mountain Artillery Event" - June 6 - 7, Boonsboro, MD (art.)
Invitation only artillery demonstration event at South Mountain State Park. Our unit and invited friends will have the opportunity to work on a battery of period, 12 lb. Napoleons. This event is strictly invitation only, and all attendess must be pre-approved.

High Tide - June 27 - 29, 2008, Gettysburg, PA
The "other" Gettysburg event, our battalion will be conducting the educational outreach for this event.

Fischer's Hill Living History and Reenactment - September 12 - 14, 2008 Toms Brook, VA (art.)
Living history and battle event at the pivotal battle which set the stage for the Battle of Cedar Creek. Known as the "Gibraltar of the Valley", the outflanking of the Confederate forces under Jubal Early in this battle would lead to the end of Fisher's Hill as a safe haven for the CSA in the valley. Jeremy Hilliard and our battalion are arranging this event with the Fishers Hill cluster of the SVBF.
