Camps, Events, etc.-3
The various
"marches for preservation" have been memorable events for our unit.
Here's one of the spots where we broke for a rest period during the Winchester
March.
The 37th boys usually "hit the dirt"
during these rest breaks, following the advice of Stonewall Jackson who
said, "when a man lays down during a rest in the march, he rests the whole
man".
Here's Eric (woody) Woodward
and William (muley) Hendricks during a rest period on the Winchester march.
If the sun is hot, everybody
wants to get a spot under the lean-to that gets "thrown up" during a rest
stop!
