If I go up to the heavens, you are there;

I love and am very comforted by the thought that I can go nowhere that is out of God's sight!! I think of a child who is exploring something or someplace new.. frequently they'll look back to make sure they are within eyesight of a parent/adult. Knowing they are watched over and within a range of safety gives them security to step out and explore or risk... In the same way this verse helps me to see how closely God watches over me, not to stifle me but so that I'll feel confident enough to stretch my winds and soar.
