For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you,
Do not fear; I will help you.
Isaiah 41:13
Another verse that brings me much comfort. There is so much significance in one phrase in this verse... The right hand in general is expressive of power and support. Holding the right hand expresses support while standing on the right side expressed protection. In order for God to hold my right hand he must be standing on my right side!! It encourages, strengthens & comforts me so much to know that God chooses to hold my right hand!
My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
Ps 63:8
Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
Ps 73:23
For he stands at the right hand of the needy one,
to save his life from those who condemn him.
Ps 109:31
"This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of
