I heard about this whole Leonid meteor shower thing this morning. Event of a lifetime, they said. 1000 meteors per hour. What a gyp!

Shooting stars are nothing new. You see those all the time. This is nothing more than shooting stars. Just a few more than usual. Yee-haw. I guess, to be fair, I wasn't in the countryside or something, where I got to see all 1000 in the hour. But I expected to be a little bit more wowed that I was. Pretty pathetic life you have, if this is the event of a lifetime. Or I guess it was a once in a lifetime event. Which is different. Whatever.

I don't seem to understand the obsession that people seem to have with the sky. Admittedly, it's cool what the shooting stars look like. But I mean.....they're just pretty stars. And in real life, they're just shit burning up as it enters the atmosphere. And it doesn't really look THAT impressive. That's the problem. Things don't appear impressive. So why did I stand in the freezing cold, having my numbbutt becoming even number? Because I'm a fucking idiot. And they had false damn advertising. Gypped. suckers. Damn.
