It's Time to come Home !!! As I was growing up as a child, I remember my parents telling me that no matter what happens, no matter what I do, you are always be welcome back home. And it made me think about God's love and how when ever we fail in his eyes, God wants you to know that he will always love us and waits for us to come home.
I know about his love because it wasn't so long ago when I had a falling out with God (what I called it). It started when my mom who was a Sunday School teacher for 14 years at a local church. She was ask to resign because as I saw it, my mom put her family first then always going to every Sunday church services when she had to work. Needless to say while my mom looked for a new church I was questioning God & Jesus Christ. But all it took to save me was a teacher at my High School who invited my mom & I to one service. To make it short it wasn't long before we found our church where I have been going for all 4 years of my High School life. So the moral of this story is... I came home...See God brought me to that teacher, and then to that church, because of his love, the same love, that Jesus Christ gave us all when he died on the cross for our sins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SINCE THIS ARTICLE
Since that time I have graduated High School and gone off into the ministry. Though I know now what God has called me to do, I can't help but to think about all the things He had to do just bring me home. Including duying on the Cross at Calvary.... |
