Mr. McVicker's version focuses on the changes in nature the autumn brings with it. Beginning with the brisk-tempo onset of the cold, it then acknowledges the beauty of leaves falling from the trees before turning to the bare forests that must endure the harsh conditions until spring. Excellent work from a quality musician.
