A few years ago, my dad and step-mother retired and decided to buy an RV and travel throughout the country for awhile. The day they drove away for their great exploration, my step-mother said, "Robert, do you know what day it is?"
"Sure," he replied. "It's Tuesday."
"No. It's SOMEDAY!"
After years of saying, "Someday, we're going to go out and travel where ever we want to," they did it.
This poem is in honor of my folks.
I'd like to see my Someday someday --
To reach my dreams and plans.
I'd like to know the things I've sought
Are finally in my hands.I'm forever grasping
For what's beyond my reach --
I sometimes forget to stop and learn
What Nature has to teach.For Nature exists in the Now and the Is --
Its message is all around;
The goal's not satisfaction with things that we seek -
But contentment with what we have found.
