Lost and Alone
So cold and frightened
Alone in the dark
Then along came a stranger
Igniting a spark.
From a smoldering ember
Like the flight of a dove
You fanned the ember with care
Into a flame of love.
But flames need attention
And when the fuel isn't there
The flame could die out so
Treat it with care.
Too little attention
Or the embers untossed
Would be detrimental
The flame could be lost.
So treat me with kindness
And your tender loving care
So I'm not lost and alone
I'll know that you're there.
I tried to call for you as you hung
up the phone
And I began feeling so lost and alone.
I could not sleep, not one little wink.
I sat in the dark only able to think.
I can't live without you, me by your
side.
I long for the day that I will be your bride.
With you fanning the embers after igniting a spark.
I shall never again be lost and alone in the dark.
For you are my fan and I am your
flame.
There is no one here that we can blame.
So please take my hand and walk me through the fire.
To finally enjoy our needs of passion and desire

TOGETHER I dreamed we
were together
The way we long to be
In a warm and cozy cabin
Under the forest canopy
Inside the cabin is very
basic
Nothing fancy, nothing fine
With a bearskin rug in front of the fire place
Where two in love might entwine.
Outside the wonders of
mother nature
Are making a view breath-taking to see.
With a beautiful lake and some creatures
Romping through the trees.
The car parked by the
cabin
Looks very out of place
Except the sign that says "Just Married"
On the back, tied securely into place.
As the evening sun passes
From the artists pastel streaked sky
The moon becomes a beacon shining
I can see that familiar twinkle in your eye.
The innocence of pure
love on my face
Shown by the moon's bright orb
A gentle kiss that promises
My senses are able to all but absorb.
We shudder in our warm
embrace
The thrill running up and down our spines
Let me know that I am yours
And tells me that you are mine.
