before jon joined Korn he consulted a psychic who told him he would be stupid not to join Korn. Korn introduced itself bluntly to the world, featuring lightning-fast drum arrangements by David; Halloween like guitar riffs by Munky and Head; impressive hammer-style bass lines by fieldy; and authentically emotional vocals by Jonathan.Korn's musical savair-faire gives the songs such an atmosphere that the show-goer cannot simply sit and say "Hmm Nice".
Korn wins fans by touring and giving the fans the "full experience" of korn. Head and Munky use seven-string guitars. The extra string gives the guitar a much lower tonality, allowing korn's guitarist a wider range of chords to execute. Fieldy's bass is a five string bass tuned down to a rumbly low A D G C F, and employing a unique and amazing hammer-style and damping technique. the mocking misspelling "corn" with a K and a reversed R is how Korn personalized there name.
