There are five boys in the band Dream Street. They are 14 -year-old Jess McCartney, 16-year-old Matt Ballinger, 16-year-old Chris Trousdale, 16-year-old Greg Raposo, and 17-year-old Frankie Galasso.
In 2000, the first single "They Don't Understand" was put in the sound track of Pokemon 2000. Since then things have taken off the band.Within 6 months the self titled Dream Street CD has gone gold, with over 500,000 copies sold all around the world.
The first band names that Dream Street had were "Boy Wonder" and "Dream On ". Then they were called Dream Street. Greg and Chris were the first two guys in the band. The other guys were replaced for certain reasons.
They were all performers before they became a group. Matt and Chris played in the movie Sound of Music. Frankie was in the CBS soap opera As The World Turns. Greg has played the guitar since he was 6-years-old. Jess played Adam Chanlder J.R. on the ABC soap opera All My Children.
