BackCOMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:
I served as a member of the for Ku-Ring-Gai Local HQ, NSW State Emergency Services for five years, the last two years as Deputy Communications Officer. Duties involved supervising the installation and maintenance of radio and telephone equipment, devising and delivering training programmes to personnel, and induction of new members.
I was concurrently a member of the royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol, Sydney. Duties included standing watch on marine radio frequencies, maintaining equipment and manning patrol vessels. I hold a restricted marine radio operator's licence.
INTERESTS:
Interests include using computers, electronics, photography, and sailing. I have an interest in psychology and counselling, posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and play musical instruments. I also enjoy working with disabled people.
