Power - (Greek - dunamis) which means one having ability, might, and strength. The power that Jesus displayed was the dunamis power of God. This is the ever increasing, never decreasing power of God. It is the yoke destroying, burden removing demonstration of God's dunamis.
Commit (Hebrew - Gaial) - 1. To whirl, to roll, turn, and drive away; 2. To be rolled together, to roll oneself upon, to be rolled in blood. 3. To be dyed red. 4. One should picture himself being rolled upon and in the Lord.
Trust (Greek - Peitho) - To have confidence in by persuasion. This suggest that after weighing all of the data, ones complete confidence is established in the Lord.
Pass (Greek - Parercohmai) - To come, to go; literal meaning is "pass by" of person, things, or time.
The word "agree" (Greek - sunphaneo) is found in five (5) books of the bible. Agree comes from the Greek word "sumphaneo". When this word is broken down, two new words exist (sun, "together", "phone", sound. So when we look at this word, its literal meaning is, "a sounding together". Sumphaneo also carries with it the meaning of agreement primarily of musical instruments.
The Greek word for "mindful of" is (mimnesko) which means to remind. But in the middle voice, the same word means to remember, in the sense of caring for something or someone. This word also means to call to one's mind, or to be reminded. For example:
Hebrews 2:6 states - But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful (mimnesko) of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Hebrews 13:3 states - Remember (mimnesko) them that are in bonds, as bound with them; [and] them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
This lesson teaches us that no matter what is going on in our lives, God is always mindful of us. Therefore we must always be mindful (mimnesko) of God at work in our lives. We should know that all things work together for the good of them that love God and have been called according to his purpose.
