FRIENDSHIP

The crossing of our paths
has been but a brief moment in time,
yet left its shadow on my future.

My friends you may not know
how much you've touched my life;
given me strength by example,
listening when I needed to share,
accepting me as I was.

You've shared your struggles and triumphs;
given me a chance to see your growth,
helped me to recognize God's gifts.
Opened my own eyes
to the ways He works in each of us,
given me hope and joy.

I will miss your presence,
but I will not forget
all that you've taught me;
and memories of our friendship
will continue to touch my life.
