BRIEF
MOMENT
When evening falls,
I wonder where you are.
Who is embracing you now?
In the solitude
I hear your laughter; boisterous and
full
Echoing through the halls.
I step outside
In the moon I see your face.
I hear your voice in the rustling
leaves.
Somehow memories are distorted.
Our time together was never full of
grandeur
Just a brief moment in a short summer.
