Lady
of the Lake
-
I saw her
in the river's soul, the future in her eyes to read. This faerie of the
waters deep has stolen me, the light within my eye, now hers in which to
delight. Time runs through her, love flows from her, guardian of this land's
true soul. Oh, Lady in your pearly countenance, would you grant me another
chance? To gaze upon the hope of ages, the magik of peace to calm all rage.
A vision, true. Be still, be calm. What true knight would not kneel before
you? Ah, the stars are shining in your eyes. Tell me, what before
these people lies? Beguiling elf, enchantress of a time gone by. Yet, when
we fail, when darkness shall prevail, our only hope at your bosom lies.
