Black
Dove
.
I've
heard it said that love is free
pure
as one white dove
Yet
the love you gave to me, was thick and
dark
as daemon's blood
.
A crow
or raven brushed my way
dropped
a feather to my breast
The
black dove marked my heart, this day
disturbed
my love at rest
.
And
you, my angel, bear this dove
shackled
to your wrist
What
was for me a first born love, was just
another
tryst
.
I curse
your name on bloodied lips
Demon
prince, I damn our past
I blow
the dove my fatal kiss, as my
heart
screams it's last
.
My broken
heart lies down, now free
and
your black dove no longer flies
Yet
from this broken, battered need, a new
dove
shall arise
.
