Dear Susan, I to am a searching. My daughter,which I never denied giving birth to. The name I had given her at birth was Susan Lynn Liddell. I was in a home for unwed mother in Chicago,Il. Gave birth at Cook County Hospital, 1 or 2 blocks from home. She was a beautif l baby, I got to hold her once before saying good-by. She weighed 8lbs3ozs at birth,she had red hair,& blue eyes. I started a search in 1989 and quit so as not to disrupt my bdaughters life. I have since started and stop several times for the same reason but now it is time to statr and continue until I find her. My heart has ached long enough not knowing. Her bdate i 08/01/65. Born in Swedish Hospital, at 1:29pm, weighing 7# 7oz. in Seattle Washington. The thing that I fear most is that I will never find her, or that she does not care to find me,and that is really why I think I quit looking so many times. thanks for sharing your story. I hope that you too get to find your son and be reunited with him. I searched and found my mother and it is the most real and loving relationship I have today. I loved your site. I felt your pain and sorrow. I know the depth of the grief of having to say goodbye to my child because others had shame...not I.. I wanted my baby. But in 1964 I had no choices.
