This is the first kind of document to make
It consists of headers
of many sizes
some of them
can get
quite small
You can create many different kinds of lists. First, of course, there is the
standard paragraph, such as this one. While it is not so interesting, it does go
on and on and on...
But eventually a second paragraph will be needed. This line should introduce
you to other formats, but rather than do that, we'll just start seeing them:
What if you want a return
without causing the paragraph break? I just did
it. Can you?
What else do you do with HTML?
Well, there are lists:
- This is an ordered list
- that seems to tell
- the number of each
- list item
- But lists don't
- always need numbers
- You can always just
- list things...
- Definition lists...
- A definition list is a format that allows for verbose descriptions of
terms
- list
- That is to say, put in a nice order
- definitions
- And we're back where we started
So what're the important things to know here?
That:
- HTML give limited control of document appearance
- That HTML is cross platform
- Yet different browsers will interpret some tags uniquely
But I can at least list some definitions of
- Browser
- A thing that you use to look at other things that exist on the internet.
- Hypertext
- The lanuage that is used to show things on the web.
- Dynamic Media
- Stuff that is animated and moves. Not boring.
- Interactive
- Things on the internet such as forms and blah blah blah.
- URL
- A Website's home address.
And if you like, you can send an email to your
email address
