DYNAMIC-SCIENTIFIC PHILOSOPHY

Interdialogging with Mike on:

THE MASTER MIND

MIKE, on June 24 1998 you posted in SabraNet,

Jake, you wrote to me,

"Mike, you are determined to reject any system of thought that doesn't rely on the idea of a Mastermind to explain the Universe."

If you prove to me that the opposite is true, I'll join your camp and dance on D-SP's turf. But aren't you determined to reject....? BTW, it doesn't need to be a Master Mind. You and I (and him and her) are a part of this MM.

Mike, you are challenging me to either:
1) Prove that the Universe's existence can be accepted without asking oneself if a MM created it.
2) Prove that the Universe was not created by a MM.

Answers:
1) I accept that the Universe exists, without asking myself now questions that made me squeeze my brains until they went dry, during my ADOLESCENT years

2) If it was created by a MM, he is sneaky, didn't ask for my aquiescence to become part of it, nor deigned to give me any signal of 'his' existence. I chastize 'him' with my apathy, preferring to devote my energies to fruiful endeavors.

You have not answered the following:
1. Can a part of the Universe have more than the rest of it?

Oh, yes, Planet Earth! The MM did the following:
Big Bang, hydrogen, stars, supernovas, rocks and dust, Planet Earth at the right stellar system among zillions, water, aminoacids (and subsequent proteins), RNA, DNA, species upon species, random extinctions of millions of them, until Man developed. An experiment somewhat extensive and many times botched, but a quite imperfect --yet superb-- species, can finally receive the MM's grace. Ptolemy --a specimen of that species-- says "Geocentric," then Copernicus says "Heliocentric," and dies before having the chance of being condemned. Arrives Galileo, says Copernico good chap, lives enough to be condemned. Spinoza says MM part of Nature, Jews chums of the Anti-Semites say, "Send him to Hell."
Then comes Jake with his D-SP, Mike says "I don't buy it," story repeats itself...

2. What makes Man different from other creatures?

Mike, the bonobo, a genial matriarcal sex-maniac primate, recently discovered in Congo, learned from missionaries a certain position, yet was unable to learn from seculars quite a few others. There you have, vive la difference!
As for we being part of Humankind, without the need of a MM, I can only agree with you, my friend. Now, I suggest that you

LISTEN TO MY SONG

I am the moon, I am the stars,
I am a blade of summer grass.
I am you and you are me.
I believe in what I see.

My mind is analytic,
My brain empiricist.
I am a poem…
Poetry reflects
The whole universe.

Listen, listen to my song,
But write and sing your own.
