Please, no duplicating, copying, or distribution without my consent. -------------------------------------------------------------- You see the face and hands The dimple on the cheek The shortness of the body The person that is meek But I am here to tell you There’s a person that’s inside A person that is different One you can confide Inside’s an endless wonder This person who was strange Inside’s a new beginning This person who can change What’s inside is a person So very just and kind Ignore the wagging tongue This one is more refined What’s inside is an angel So sweet and caring too Her voice so melodic Her eyes an endless blue Outside is the person That you’ve always known But the person that’s inside A different person can be shown Ignore that outside body For what’s inside is more That’s the real person there The one you’ve been looking for This person isn’t bragging Or annoying, not at all She isn’t very tiny But then, she’s hardly tall What’s inside is something different Something to change your views And then, once you see her She’s no more a simple "you" What’s inside has been hidden For you must be the one To open up her heart To unmask the shining sun She’s skillfully just hidden Far beneath the skin And you’ll have to do more than talking To see the girl free from sin But until you truly know her You won’t see that one inside She’ll manage to avoid you No matter how hard you’ve tried Until then she’s no one special Annoying, yes, and true But be careful what you say Or you’ll never see the other
