Domino Divination

Most of us have a set of dominoes around the house. Few people know, though, that dominoes where used as divination tool in China as far back as the twelfth century [BCE]. Back then, there were thirty-two tiles, and the dots were both red and black. By the end of the eighteenth century, dominoes had gotten as far as England, and the colored dots were dropped and the blank tiles added. Today’s sets consist of twenty-eight tiles, in pairs from blank/blank to six/six. Here is a simple method of domino divination and interpretations for the tiles.
