The curriculum helped in understanding the nature of complex structures, behaviour of structures under different loading conditions, modern construction materials & techniques and the associated technical and managerial problems.

Got 1st position in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and was awarded Gold Medal, Merit Certificates as well as Academic Achievement Scholarships from Govt. of Pakistan.

Received Dr. S. H. Duranni Scholarship for best overall performance during the year   1994-95 from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.

Received Scholarship from the Government of Japan for Master of Engineering at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand.

Received AIT Alumni Association Research Grant for most suitable research topic in the field of Structural Engineering and Construction.
