Some time ago, GeoCities merged with Yahoo. Which, to tell the truth, irritated me more than a little with all the sudden changes but I did initially think this was okay, but recently I was walking through my webrings an found a disturbing bit of news on one of the sites there, a paragraph in Yahoo's new Terms Of Service was displayed on that site and I have re-thought my position...this is why.

CONTENT SUBMITTED TO YAHOO By submitting Content to any Yahoo property, you automatically grant, or warrant that the owner of such Content has expressly granted, Yahoo the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive and fully sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Content (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.

I seem to have this antiquated concept of personal property being my own and since Yahoo has different Ideas I am in the process of moving ALL my poetry off of this site. You may refer to my Celtic World site on FortuneCity which will also feature my own poetry. In the near future if you want to read my works you will have to refer to this site. This site and others are moving so if you have anything you want to keep as your own property I suggest you get out while the gettin's good.
