Carl T. Rowan is an award-winning syndicated columnist, a panelist on "Inside Washington", and the host of his own daily syndicated radio show, "The Rowan Report." His books include Breaking Barriers, which deals with his life during the Civil Rights Movement, Dream Makers, Dream Breakers: The World of Justice Thurgood Marshall, which deals with the Civil Rights Movement as well as Justice Marshall's life, and The Pitiful and the Proud, which deals with race, politics, and the government and social conditions in Asia.
