Hans Denck arrived in the city of Schwyz around this time and immediately got into trouble for preaching against infant baptism. He also preached that purgatory does not exist and that at the Last Judgement even the devil will be spared. He was imprisoned briefly, then released, after which he made his way to St. Gall.
