The Rose and the Wind

You are a rose glowing elegant through the night;
I am the wind which blows with a powerful might.

For a brief moment, their spirits combine;
As the passions of the wind about the rose intertwine.

However, this love shall soon pass;
For a love like theirs can never last.

For a rose is rooted and cannot uplift and fly;
And the wind cannot be still lest it die.

Therefore, no matter how hard they try;
For the rose and wind, it shall always end in good-bye.
