Revisited

Again my angel came unto me as the petals began their bloom,
Again with her presence did she wash away my gloom.

Once more her flesh stirred fire in the heart which beats in mine,
Once more her lips ran as sweet as as dark red wine.

Her passion again brought happiness to this my lonely soul,
But as all gifts this joy did carry its toll.

For just as my angel returned me to the peace I had once been,
The time arrived for me to say good-bye once again.
